Program Overview

The joint providership of The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower and Focus Medical Communications presents NYSGE Spring Course. This educational activity will deliver emerging science and incorporate expert opinions on best practices for the diagnosis and management of patients with CLD and GI disorders.

 

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of MD, APPs, and Fellows involved in the management of patients with CLD and GI disorders.

Learning Objectives

  • Review recent clinically relevant advances in the diagnosis and management of chronic liver disease (CLD) and gastrointestinal (GI) disorders.

  • Apply evidence-based guidelines and emerging data to optimize care for patients with CLD and common GI conditions.

  • Identify best practices for early detection, risk stratification, and monitoring of patients with CLD and GI diseases.

  • Evaluate new and emerging treatments, technologies, and diagnostic tools in hepatology and gastroenterology.

Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower and Focus Medical Communications. Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physician Credit

The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

Nurse Credit

The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.50 ANCC contact hours, which will include pharmacology hours.
